No Easter Show would be complete without the thrills, lights and excitement of Mahon's Amusements – and they’re back again for 2025! A staple partner of the Easter Show, Mahon's have been bringing joy to generations of Kiwis for over 70 years, and their vibrant presence is once again set to light up the carnival.

Open every day of the show from 10am to 10pm, Mahon's will be operating an incredible lineup of attractions, rides and amusements that stretch across the dedicated carnival zone.

Mahon's is all about delivering high-energy excitement – and this year, they’re rolling out both fan favourites and new experiences.

Carnival Rides

🚀 Thrill seekers will want to head straight for the Hurricane, Scream Machine, Gravitron, Turbo Boost, and the brand new Ali Baba – high-adrenaline rides that send hearts racing and smiles flying.

🎠 Families and younger visitors will love the Golden Wheel, Grand Carousel, Tea Cups, Flying Dragons, Ghost Train, and Dodgem Cars.

🎯 And if you’re after that classic carnival feel, you’ll find carnival games, skill testers, and all your favourite carnival eats around the edges of the carnival area.

Whether you’re there for a thrill, a spin, or a fun family moment, Mahon's Amusements has you covered. With rides running from 6pm-10pm 2nd April and from 10am–10pm 3rd-6th April, there’s plenty of time to experience it all – and maybe even go around again!

Ride coupons can be purchased online prior to the event alongside your gate tickets. Online options are a Super Pass, granting you unlimited access during the evening carnival, or a Family Pack, which grants you 110 coupons to share among the family. For on-the-day purchases, there will be multiple ticketing booths available in the carnival area.
